Helen Haberman will be taking students from Rachel Carson Environmental Science Academy (Churchill H.S.), to Whittaker Creek Campground on the Siuslaw River. Teach students about fish life cycle, cultural significance of salmon, and importance of water quality in our streams.
Macroinvertebrates Volunteer
Teach students about macroinvertebrates life cycle, use as a bio-indicator, as well as identification.
Riparian Ecology
Teach students about the interconnected nature of our streams by taking a riparian walk.

Teach students about the importance of clean cool water by leading them in testing temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen and turbidity.
