During Salmon Watch field trips, volunteer educators teach salmon and watershed ecology as students rotate through each of the four education stations. Volunteers are integral to the success of this program and come from a variety of sources and backgrounds including local government agencies and utility companies, outdoor sporting groups, retired teachers, recent graduates and college students. Volunteering with the Salmon Watch program is a great way to give back to the community while enjoying our local rivers and streams.
